Olive Tapenade with Litani Olives and Oil

This rustic and flavourful tapenade is a celebration of simple, authentic ingredients. At its heart are the salty olives, brought to life with a hint of garlic and a generous pour of pure Litani Olive Oil. The result is a bold, savoury spread with a coarse, satisfying texture, a perfect companion for crusty bread, fresh vegetables, or as a vibrant addition to a cheese board.

Ingredients

2 cups of Litani olives, pitted
1 clove garlic, finely minced
2 tablespoons Litani Olive Oil

Instructions

Combine the Ingredients 

Place the pitted olives and minced garlic into a bowl. Drizzle generously with the Litani Olive Oil.

Smash and Mix 

Using a fork, a mortar and pestle, or the back of a spoon, gently smash the ingredients together. Continue until you achieve a coarse, textured paste. Do not blend the mixture into a smooth purée; the rustic texture is part of its charm.

Serve

Enjoy the tapenade immediately or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
