Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup Lebanese pine nuts
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the basil, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice and salt and pepper. Pulse to break down.
- With the motor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until emulsified.
- Add the Parmesan and pulse briefly to combine.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
